I have been taking photos since I was 14, but at first only to use them as references when still being an oil painter.

A few years later I learned the use of the camera from Joao Mourao in the city of Lisbon (Lisboa in Portuguese), where I took my first photos considering them as the final product rather than an intermediate step. As a small tribute to that city, since 2013 I adopted the surname Boalis, since my real name, Antonio Moreno, is sooo common. You can read the full story here.

I've received classes from Alberto García-Alix (1999 Spain's National Prize), José Manuel Navia (Agence Vù Paris) and Samo Rovan.

In 2008 LemArt Group (exclusive to Picasso for Italy) published my project "Faith", selling 2,500 copies worldwide.

2008 - 1st Prize - 1st “4 Seasons Madrid” Photography Contest.
2010 - 3rd Prize - 2nd RENFE (Spain's National Railroad Co.) Photography Contest, in Madrid.
2018 - "Right on!" selected (preliminary mentions to the prestigious Fearless Awards).

Since 2009 I'm focused in wedding photography and since 2015 I'm a wedding photographer in Malaga and Marbella, Andalusia, Spain.

* What you see in this portfolio is a selection of personal projects shot between 2005 and 2010.
